Financial Asset in the Practice: The Prospect List
The prospect list in a dental practice is almost unheard of by dentists. Every patient that inquires for services ,
besides the rare certified wacko, should be put into a database to be contacted forever unless they "buy, die, move, or scream get me off your mailing list." Asset and payment protection is available specific to the lease rather than taking from your current practice insurance. An operating lease is not shown on your balance sheet... this results in better financial ratios.

MIS Scientific Study: Soft tissue healing around One Piece (UNO) with full rough-treated implants. The clinical study evaluates the capability of soft tissue healing around treated surface in one piece screw implants. The study leader is Prof. Bratu Emanuel from the department of implant restorations, University of Medicine and pharmacy, Timisioara, Romania.
This study comprised six patients, each of them received one or two one piece full rough treated MIS implants, of 10-13mm length, and 3mm diameter, in different regions of the mouth.
The study demonstrated that if fixed gingival around the implant can be obtained, there is no need for a polished implant neck in order to prevent peri-implant tissue irritation. To see the Results & Conclusion please read the full article.Full Mouth Cases Require FAR MORE than Just Full Mouth Clinical Skills! - He dislikes the overlapping centrals and the dark color.

Hindsight is 20/20: "In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king." - J.F. Tide
Just like the old saying goes, personally this rings true for myself and for what clients continually espouse about their experiences before going behind the veil to finally have what works for these cases in the Big Case Program.
Most of the marketing being done for dentists be it by "dental marketers" or by dentists themselves is the equivalent of the blind leading the blind. This placing of faith in the blind instead of recognizing them for what they are, prevented myself in my early practice days, my clients before they knew any different, and currently prevents many future clients (some who are reading this right now) from seeing more of the cases they are trained to treat.

Believing... "I'm just a dentist, I don't know or need to know anything about marketing. I can completely outsource or hire that task to someone more knowledgeable."
AKA How the doctor gets easily victimized by advertising sales reps because of a lack of knowledge about the laws of marketing. There are a lot of mistakes being made when it comes to marketing done for and by dentists.
The #1 and biggest mistake made by dentists when marketing their practice is believing that "I'm just a dentist, I don't know anything about marketing." or even worse, "I don't need to know anything about marketing." This comes with a corollary effect known as, "How the doctor gets easily victimized by advertising sales reps" because of this belief and lack of knowledge.
