A class of its own, the Easy Pneumatic Crown and Bridge Remover II is air activated and breaks cement seals using short, repeated and low impact force. The Easy Pneumatic Crown and Bridge Remover II is hand-held, attaching to high or low pressure air line connections.
According to Dr. Francis V. Panno, Professor and Division Head of the Department of Restorative & Prosthetic Sciences at New York University College of Dentistry, the Easy Pneumatic Crown and Bridge Remover will break the seal on any type of bonding cement. Elastic cements tend to retract back to the starting point when time is spent recalibrating an instrument or preparing it for another “strike”. The rapid and repeated action of the Easy Pneumatic Remover prevents the cement from reseating itself.
