Founded in 1997, Osteogenics BioMedical, is now a leading producer of tissue regeneration membrane products that are used during dental implant procedures by a growing number of dentists, oral surgeons and periodontists.
CytoPlast® GBR-200
The original high-density PTFE membrane
- Non-Resorbable - Won’t resorb prematurely. You dictate healing time.
- 100% Medical Grade PTFE - Biologically inert & chemically non-reactive.
- Dense (non-expanded) PTFE; pore size less than 0.3 μm - Bacteria, which are usually about 2-5 μm in diameter, can’t pass through the membrane, thereby reducing infections.
- Purposely leave the membrane exposed - Less surgical time, preservation of soft tissue architecture and keratinized mucosa.
- Soft tissue attaches, doesn’t grow through the membrane - Exposed allows for the non-surgical removal; no anesthesia required.
- Cost-Effective - More affordable for patients and more profitable for surgeons.
CytoPlast® GBR-200 Singles
Identical to GBR-200, but in a size ideal for single sites
- Non-Resorbable - Won’t resorb prematurely. You dictate healing time.
- 100% Medical Grade PTFE - Biologically inert & chemically non-reactive.
- Dense (non-expanded) PTFE; pore size less than 0.3 - Bacteria, which are usually about μm 2-5 μm in diameter, can’t pass through the membrane, thereby reducing infections.
- Purposely leave the membrane exposed - Less surgical time, preservation of soft tissue architecture and keratinized mucosa.
- Soft tissue attaches, but doesn’t grow through the membrane - Exposed membrane allows for non-surgical removal; no anesthesia required.
- 12 mm x 20 mm - Ideal size for extraction sites; no waste.
- Cost-Effective - More affordable for patients and more profitable for surgeons.
CytoPlast® TXT-200
Patented, micro-textured PTFE membrane
- Non-Resorbable - Won’t resorb prematurely. You dictate healing time.
- 100% Medical Grade PTFE - Biologically inert & chemically non-reactive.
- Dense (non-expanded) PTFE; pore size less than 0.3 μm - Bacteria, which are usually about 2-5 μm in diameter, can’t pass through the membrane, thereby reducing infections.
- Purposely leave the membrane exposed - Less surgical time, preservation of soft tissue architecture and keratinized mucosa.
- Soft tissue attaches, but doesn’t grow through the membrane - Exposed membrane allows for non-surgical removal; no anesthesia required.
- Hexagonal dimples increase surface area by over 250% - Textured surface helps stabilize the membrane and helps prevent soft tissue recession.
- Cost-Effective - More affordable for patients and more profitable for surgeons.

Cytoplast® TI-250 Titanium-Reinforced
Titanium reinforced, high-density PTFE membrane
- Hexagonal surface dimples provide a textured surface, which increases the area available for cellular attachment by 250%.
- Micro-porosity of less than 0.3 microns prevents both bacterial and cellular penetration, allowing exposure of the membrane.
- Grade 1 titanium frame increases rigidity and allows for the creation and preservation of space when grafting.
Cytoplast TI-250 Anterior Narrow
Ideal for narrow single-tooth extraction sites, especially where one or more bony walls are missing.
Cytoplast TI-250 Anterior Singles
Ideal size and shape for single-tooth extraction sites, especially where one or more bony walls are missing.
Cytoplast TI-250 Posterior Singles
Designed for grafting posterior extrac¬tion sites and limited ridge augmentation.
Cytoplast TI-250 Posterior Large
Designed for grafting large bony de¬fects, including ridge augmentation.
Cytoplast TI-250 Anterior Perio
Designed to fit periodontal defects in the anterior.
Cytoplast TI-250 Posterior Perio
Designed to fit periodontal defects in the posterior.
CytoPlast® Osteo-Mesh
Ti nitride coated, perforated mesh
- Ultra-thin; 0.1 mm thick - Easier to get primary closure.
- 0.3 mm pore size - Contains most graft materials.
- Safe, highly inert, non-reactive, non-stick nitride coating - Improves tissue release upon removal.
- May be repeatedly sterilized by autoclave - Unused portions are not wasted.
CytoPlast® RTM Collagen
Type 1 bovine collagen membrane
- Manufactured from highly purified type 1 bovine achilles tendon - Safe for the patient.
- Longer, predictable resorption time (26 – 38 weeks) - No risk of particle loss due to premature resorption.
- Unique fiber orientation provides high tensile strength - You can suture the membrane in place without tearing.
- Cell occlusive - Prevents epithelial down growth.
- Optimized flexibility - When wet, easily drapable over ridge, but not so flimsy that it collapses into defect.
- Either side may be placed against the defect - No confusion.
Edentulous Jaw Models
Life-size anatomical models are ideal for demonstrating the dramatic effects of progressive bone loss.
For denture patients, the models help them understand the progressive nature of bone loss and the denture instability that results from the lack of ridge height and encroachment on muscle attachments.
For referring doctors, these models can help them in explaining the need for ridge preservation, ridge augmentation or dental implants to patients with dentures or those contemplating full-mouth extraction.
Cytoplast® PTFE Suture
Ideal for bone grafting procedures; guided tissue regeneration; implant surgery; periodontal surgery; ridge augmentation and soft tissue grafts.
- 100% Medical Grade PTFE - Biologically inert & chemically non-reactive; superior soft tissue reaction.
- Monofilament - Doesn’t wick bacteria.
- Soft (not stiff like most monofilaments) - Comfortable for patients.
- Maintains tensile strength - Keeps the surgical site reliably closed.
- Little or no package memory - Excellent handling; soft handling and knots securely.
- 37% less expensive than GORE-TEX® - Premium suture at a reasonable price.
